Consumption to fall permanently

Consumption to fall permanently

Twelve municipalities and municipal associations from upper and lower franconia joined forces three years ago to form an energy efficiency network (we reported). Now the implementation phase is getting underway. The partners are committed to driving forward the energy revolution and identifying potential savings with the aim of permanently reducing their own consumption. What is often difficult for municipalities to implement on their own should be easier in a group.
Cooperation in the "municipal energy efficiency network of upper franconia (keeno) is extensively subsidized by the federal ministry of the environment.

Experts on board

The municipalities are supported by the northern bavaria energy agency based in kulmbach. The experts will tell you how to correctly measure consumption in your properties. Potential savings are to be identified and concrete measures implemented with professional support.
As network manager wolfgang bohm said at the signing of the contract at the himmelkron "frankenfarm the project is also a good opportunity to discuss specific issues and share experiences at quarterly meetings. External experts should also have their say. "Finally, each participating municipality is to have its own energy officer."
Wolfgang bohm knows the problem: "especially in smaller communities, hardly any records are kept of energy consumption, and comparisons over several years are even rarer." He knows how important it is to meticulously assess the situation, especially at the beginning of the project.
District administrator klaus peter sollner spoke of a win-win situation: "this network will be successful, i'm quite sure of it."
Markus ruckdeschel from the northern bavaria energy agency emphasized that each participating municipality has contributed a building pool to the network. It is important to record the energy consumption in the municipal properties and to know what is happening in the buildings throughout the year. "The essential thing is that we accompany the municipalities in the analysis of weak points. They will receive a neutral
expertise from auben, for example, on how to regulate heat distribution in a school more sensibly.

Josef hofbauer an economics branch is to complete the educational landscape at the grammar schools in the district of forchheim. Ingrid kafferlein, head of the herder grammar school in forchheim, came up with the idea in the middle of last year. As a result, all of the district’s high school principals expressed interest in this educational option. The ministry of education and cultural affairs has now asked the district, as the responsible authority, to propose a site for the school. The members of the district cultural committee voted with only one dissenting vote in favor of the herder grammar school as a location.

Only 650 students left

Thus the district council chose the school with the smallest number of students. While around 900 students each attend the ehrenburg-gymnasium in forchheim and the gymnasium frankische schweiz in ebermannstadt, the herder gymnasium has only around 650 students. Here, according to principal ingrid kafferlein, the humanities branch only exists on paper. In recent years, for example, not a single student has chosen ancient greek as a subject. With 370 children, the majority of the schoolchildren had chosen the artistic branch. 250 children attended the language branch of this school. In ebermannstadt, 222 students in the eighth to tenth grades of the natural sciences branch of the school face 158 children of the same age from the social sciences branch.

greece shocked after murder of left-wing activist

"We will not allow the epigones of the nazis to poison social life," samaras told tv on thursday. Political differences cannot be solved with violence and certainly not with blood. The activist and rapper pavlos fyssas (stage name "killah P"), who was stabbed to death by a right-wing extremist on wednesday night, was killed in a rally.") was buried at piraus.

In the evening, a rally of trade unions and left-wing groups took place in the west of athens, not far from the scene of the crime. According to the media, a large police force protected the offices of the radical right-wing party "chryssi avgi" (golden morning red), which has been linked to the crime of bloodshed. The meeting passed without significant incidents, unlike the previous evening, when there had been some serious riots in piraus, thessaloniki and the western greek port of patras.

The district council hopes for babies born in habfurt

Finally a county budget to participate in! Every citizen in the habberge district is urged to do his or her part to improve the financial situation. Those who accept the habberg clinics and are treated there in the event of illness pay their solidarity contribution. Above all, however, if in the future even more expectant parents decide to give birth to their children in the habfurt clinic, there is a chance of saving the obstetrics department in habfurt. A demand program of the state gives hope! However, 50 percent of the county's children actually had to see the light of day in habfurt's obstetrics department – so far, the figure is a good 45 percent. The demand could relieve the county budget with about 680000 euros.

That's why district administrator wilhelm schneider (CSU) and the speakers from all the parliamentary groups sent an appeal to all parents-to-be during the district council's budget discussion on monday: "now we have it partly in our own hands whether obstetrics can be maintained in the district."
At the last meeting before christmas, however, the worry lines in the round of the district council outweighed the worry lines in the round of the district council when it came to the topic of the habberg clinics. Health care will continue to eat a serious hole in the budget in 2018, even though the closure of the hofheim clinic has already done a lot to cut costs. Around 3.5 million euros to be spent in the coming year alone to cover building maintenance and deficits at the two remaining clinics and medical care centers.

Acrobats and wild beasts

Acrobats and wild beasts

No question, most children love the circus. For many children, it may even be a dream to stand in the ring as an artist themselves one day. But it takes a lot of courage to walk over a pile of broken glass without batting an eyelid. Or even to perform acrobatic lifting maneuvers.
For the elementary school students of kirchehrenbach this dream came true. They were allowed to perform as fakirs, acrobats, sword artists, clowns and wild beasts. The piccadelli children’s circus from bamberg was a guest at the elementary and middle school.
"It made me feel really good", says little paula (8), who successfully tried her hand at acrobatics. For all boys and girls it was an exciting experience. And a welcome change from the daily school routine. The first to fourth graders dived into the colorful world of the circus with the circus directors heidrun muller-gunzelmann and irmi krawielitzki. On a total of four school mornings (one class practiced on each morning), the students and the trainers put together a complete circus program. Instead of math and german, there was suddenly plate spinning and balancing on the schedule. This demanded commitment and concentration from all, in order to enter the numbers in such a short time. Whereby the spab was always in the foreground. The project was made possible by the school’s forderverein, led by chairwoman birgit gebhardt. "It is important to show the students that school can also be fun", she describes the background idea of the project. It was not difficult for the children to put themselves into the daily circus routine and to formally outgrow themselves in the process. Lovely costumes and a true-to-style backdrop contributed to the circus atmosphere. The gymnasium was transformed into a circus tent and bathed in spotlights. The final show also went off without a hitch and delighted parents, grandparents, siblings, relatives, friends and teachers of the children.
Mayor anja gebhardt also came as an honorary guest. The one or other spectator escaped with the individual numbers of the oftentimes an astonished "ah" and "oh". The coaches were visibly pleased. "It doesn’t get any better than this, krawielitzki praised the eager young artists after the performance.
The circus director did not want to tell curious people how to get over the broken pieces barefoot and unharmed and how to lie unharmed on a nail board. "That remains a circus secret", winked at them. The kirchehrenbach elementary school students know it naturally.
Fordervereins chairwoman gebhardt and four other members watched the show with one crying and one laughing eye. For them it was the last presentation, as they will not stand for election in the new elections.

Trade tax is a cause for concern: last year it was 600,000 euros lower than calculated, and in the first quarter of 2013 the city received a demand for repayment of over 600,000 euros, and the decline in trade tax continued. 147,000 euros less than the previous year came into the city’s coffers in the first quarter. Kammerer ernst rippstein thus started the year with a deficit of over 1.4 million euros.

In any case, the canteen and the development of the "sandwuhl" area must be financed in limbach as well as the ongoing village renewal acceptance in robstadt. As a consequence, the finance committee postponed or cancelled all non-essential purchases for the time being, and yet a loan of 4.2 million euros will be necessary. As a result, the debt level, which has been reduced to less than 400,000 euros in recent years, is skyrocketing. But part of the borrowing is only interim financing. For the mensa alone, grants and cost sharing of over one million euros are still outstanding.

September with an open day and a blessing ceremony. The bookstore, however, has already made its move – and this in an unusual way.
Until now, oberhaid has had a community library st. Bartholomaus, where oberhaider children, teenagers and adults could stock up on 50 square meters of reading material. But now a quantum leap has taken place, with more than 10,000 books, magazines and modern media now lined up on 200 square meters in the new oberhaid bookstore.
"With us now education and inclusion is written more than ever roughly", oberhaider mayor carsten joneitis (SPD) was pleased about the move to the new reading temple, which offers new reading dimensions with horschleifen, i.E. Simultaneous translation. The procession itself was extraordinary, an endless "bookworm" lined up from the old bookstore with elementary and middle school children and youths. From one hand to the other, children’s and young people’s literature, as well as adult novels, went to the new oberhaider bookstore.
Already in the run-up to the move, the bookstore manager sabine jahn and her impressive staff of 29 volunteers had done an immense amount of work and had already filled numerous bookshelves. She was supported by the apprentices of the company bosch, who spent days hauling and putting away the books. The bookworm was of course celebrated in style.
Thomas muller from the oberhaid brass band accompanied the book caravan with trumpet sounds, and the designer sabrina griesbach received a big bouquet of flowers for designing the new bookstore logo.
Sabine jahn, mayor joneitis and of course the oberhaider bookworms are looking forward to the new library, also the mothers are invited to the reading cafe on wednesday mornings and afternoons, meanwhile the book lovers of the future can have fun in the game corner. At the parade party, all participants received a small gift and a raffle with prizes from the "fassla" beer for the "rough" ones and plus animals for elementary school children.
