Weir can pay on youth

At the annual general meeting of the hablach fire department, it became clear that the firefighters are an important pillar of community life in the district of teuschnitz. Good mood prevailed at the meeting. No serious missions, good youth work and joint events made 2018 a good year. Chairman florian seliger first dealt with the state of membership. The force currently consists of 133 members, including eight youths and 125 adults. He described the year 2017 as one of the most successful years and 2018 a little quieter. Three committee meetings were held, plus one meeting with the local club presidents. It was agreed to give birthday celebrants a fire extinguisher.

Three major purchases were made. New rain- and weatherproof parkas and a new beamer were purchased. The third acquisition was a new backdoor. The chairman thanked his deputy andreas martin, who did an excellent job. He also thanked the horticultural association and the guardian association for the good cooperation.

The youth report was given by johannes martin. The number of members is currently nine, four female and five male. In 2018 the performance badge was passed again. The young people were also present to support. A total of 13 meetings were held. Many other and own events were supported by the youth group.

Johannes martin gave a positive review of the last 20 years for the youth group. He was pleased that the young people usually enter active service and remain loyal to the fire department. He thanked the firefighters of the hablach fire department for the good cooperation.

Commander ralf seliger was satisfied with the active fire department, which currently consists of 23 firefighters. In addition to the 13 exercises, seven additional exercises were held. There were no fire operations, except for a show at the elementary school in teuschnitz.

The foundation is intended to contribute to an age-related stay in the familiar home environment. 21 firefighters took part in the inspection and were particularly pleased with the good reviews from the district fire inspectorate. The army also took part in a motor-vehicle training course and attended conferences. The discharge of the board was unanimous.

In their speeches, mayor gabriele weber and district fire inspector hans-ulrich muller praised the strong commitment of the fire department. The people of hablach could be proud of their fire department. Especially her work with young people is outstanding. They also emphasized the good cooperation with the other associations.
