Congratulations! Golden wedding anniversary of the knaubs
Inge and eugen knaub (left) from the prichsenstadt district of laub celebrated on 28. August golden wedding anniversary. Eugen was born on 15. April 1942 in reupelsdorf and also went to school here. He then started an apprenticeship as an agricultural machinery mechanic at baywa in wiesentheid, germany. He worked there for almost 49 years until his retirement in 2005, interrupted only by his military service in ebern in 1963/64.
The jubilarian was active in the laub volunteer fire department for 40 years, including as commander. He was a member of the soldiers and warriors association until its dissolution and was vice chairman for many years. He has been a member of the laub football club since his wedding and was a member of the club committee for many years.
His hobbies are two vintage tractors. These he cherishes and cares for, as both are still in use. The jubilarian also finds joy in his carp pond. Every day he informs himself in the daily newspaper about near and far events.
Inge knaub was born on 18. Born in laub on january 1943, went to school here and learned the profession of office clerk, also at baywa in wiesentheid. After that, she was employed in the same company for 46 years until her retirement in 2006, interrupted only by her time spent raising children. Since retirement, the jubilarian has been a church caretaker in laub, st. Nicholas and cares for many concerns of the church community. Among them was also the renovation of the church in 2010. Her hobbies are gardening with a wide variety of flowers and vegetables, cooking and baking.
Mr. And mrs. Knaub were often to be found in the kitchen and bar in the early days of the lauber sports home, thus supporting the community. In 1969/70, they built their own home in laub, where they still live today. Congratulations to the son jurgen and his family and to rainer, including two grandchildren, relatives, acquaintances and neighbors.
