Leonie heuschmann from burgkunstadt with two gymnastics festival victories
Among the 10000 participants at the bavarian state gymnastics festival in schweinfurt were also some trampoline gymnasts from TV burgkunstadt. A total of 485 competitions took place in 34 sports. 28 bavarian championships have also been held. A highlight was certainly the gymnastics festival gala. Hahn/schlee runners-up
For the burgkunstadt team, saturday was competition day. In the morning the bavarian synchronized championships and in the afternoon the gymnastics festival cup competition in trampoline gymnastics took place. Emelie hahn and leni schlee, still too young for the whole gymnastics festival, have traveled to join the synchronized competition. It paid off, because the two presented themselves very strongly and promptly took second place in the 2007 and younger age groups and were now allowed to call themselves bavarian runners-up.
In the youth gymnasts (jg. 2005/06) eva pensel and hanna schlee finished in a good seventh place. In the 2003/04 competition, emma doppel and janina rupp came in fourth, just missing the podium.
Lara bornschlegel and leonie heuschmann (jg. 2001/02) celebrated the championship. Both showed synchronously gymnastics exercises despite very high difficulty. Already in the lead after the preliminaries, they showed their best performance of the day in the final and won the gold medal. Lea werner's synchronization partner dropped out, so she teamed up with phoenix baumgard from TSV friedberg. Without training, the duo harmonized and took 4th place.
Victory also in the gymnastics cup
The individual competition for the gymnastics festival cup was internationally announced. Some french gymnasts in particular stood out, showing a style all of their own. At the youth gymnasts (jg. 2007 and younger), hanna schlee showed a very nice duty, but due to a misunderstanding, the wrong one, for which she did not receive a point. Even her good curvature was of no use to her, she ended up in 48th place. Place, instead of in the final of the best eight.
In the youth gymnasts (2005/06), emma doppel narrowly missed the final and finished in 11th place. Eva pensel turned 16 here. Leonie heuschmann (jg. 2003/04) won the title with excellent routines and thus made her competition day perfect with the second gymnastics festival victory. Janina rupp occupies 17th place here.
The three TVB gymnasts of the 2001/02 age group all made it to the finals. Lea werner did best in fifth place. Lara bornschlegel took 7th place ahead of hannah pensel, who had not expected to do so after a long break due to injury.
