The spring upswing is slow in coming

The unemployment rate this year in march was 3.8 percent. A year ago in march it amounted to 3.5 percent, the employment agency further reported.

The number of jobs in the district increased by 16 from february to march 2013 to 314 open positions. There were nine fewer jobs compared to the same month last year.

They are attracted to tourist hotspots such as the alpine region, or they apply for a job on one of the increasing number of cruise ships.", the head of the employment agency, thomas stelzer, passes on the observations of his placement specialists.

In the nursing professions, there is a rough supply of interesting jobs, especially in the two counties of bad kissingen and rhon-grabfeld, which are difficult to fill. "In the care sector we have a very rough demand in the region", explains stelzer "unfortunately, this is offset by a far too small supply of interested parties." Anyone who can imagine working in elderly care or health care should seriously consider this occupational field. A change, for example, from an occupation in the office, for which the chances on the labor market are unfavorable, even in the medium term, could be a possibility.
